Mark Sellick

What do you do?

A dangerous amount of different things involving theatre, music and events.

As a job title I usually settle on ‘Creative Professional‘ – suitably vague but it sounds important.

What’s a ‘Creative Professional’?

Good question. I spend my time somewhere between creative, technical and organisational.

One day I’m building a theatrical set, the next I’m programming, designing a poster, cutting music, running an event, or drinking iced tea while pretending to have a plan.

Think of it as equal parts creativity, practicality and controlled chaos.

Where are you based?

Halfway between Bath and Bristol.

Close enough to both to claim either, depending on who’s asking.

Do you practice what you preach?

Well, it’d be awkward if I didn’t. For all the time I spend behind the scenes, I end up on the stage surprisingly often too. Singing, playing, performing – occasionally all at once.

It’s also useful to be reminded why performers always ask for more monitor.

How do I get in touch?

By email, probably. WhatsApp if you’ve got my number or visit one of my social links below.

Project, event, or just to say hello, I’d love to hear from you.
